but i can't think of a crueler fate than the fate that you put on me

and most days, i don't feel it anymore
most of my days here, i've forgotten the days before
but today i'm tired
so i hope you're ready take on the fate that you inspired

and you might think
you don't need the skies above
and i tend to agree with you
you might think it's fine
if we just let it all fall down
and i think that i think that too
you may think you've got
it all figured out
and who knows, maybe that's true 
we'll see what happens
when i give all this weight
to you

maybe the trees won't care
maybe the others will carry their fruits through the air
and today i'm fine
