She drinks just like a sailor
She’s selfish, she’s a miser
You ask her three ex-husbands
They tell you they despise her
She shifts her eyes from side to side
and makes a funny face at you
She says: “you can’t hate me;
Not unless you love me too”

You feel the teacup shatter
As she throws it at your head
She speculates if anyone
Would care if she were dead
She cries and rolls her eyes
And kisses you and says “you’re lovely dear”
And that should be the end of it
But she’s being so sincere

You’re headed for the exit
She demands you stick around 
You turn around like Orpheus 
She’s nowhere to be found
You close your eyes and calm yourself
And wonder “why’d she bail?”
It doesn’t really hurt right now
But you know it’s in the mail (edited)
