I got a sparkling pink heart, wear it like a trademark,
it's hangin' on my sleeve 'til I give it away

My sweet little pink heart might just be my best part
wholly undefeated, it keeps beating in a hundred and one ways,

a thumbs-up for a rainy day, now,
a warm hug when you're feelin' down ,
If I see you, I'll be waving,
if you're sobbing, I'll be waiting,
so you better come around,
I'll turn your whole world upside-down

Everything started with a bottle of ink,
Could have been anything, but had to be pink
Stood there for hours with my head in the sink
Saw my reflection and her smile started makin' me think

how could Loreal and Garnier
wash all of my pain away?
what if this was every day?
what if I could stay like this forever
and endeavor to be better to myself,
to show that girl the kindness
I give everybody else?

My pink heart went off like a jump-start
she smacked me with compassion
like a slap in the face

my sweet cherry pink heart just gave me a fresh start
without her I'm depleted, uncompleted in a hundred and one ways,

a thumbs-up for a rainy day, now,
a warm hug when you're feelin' down ,
